
Annie Ford is a BACP-accredited counsellor, EMDR therapist and supervisor working from a garden office studio in mid Devon, between Cullompton and Exeter. She holds a BSc (Hons), a diploma in integrative counselling and an advanced diploma in CBT, and draws on person-centred, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural and EMDR approaches. Sessions are offered face to face and online.

Annie's work covers overwhelm, anxiety, depression, panic and stress, bereavement and loss, unhealthy relationships, assault, PTSD and phobias, and life transitions such as marriage, divorce and separation, menopause, infertility, parenthood, retirement, relocation, university and changes of career. She also works with people living with long-term health conditions, including cancer at all stages, neurological and immunological conditions, long COVID and birth trauma.
Outdoor ecotherapy sessions are available and telephone sessions can be arranged on request. Her online practice is backed by an accredited 86-hour online counselling certification, and further training covers group facilitation, EMDR levels one to three, CBT-focused trauma work, group reflective practice and debrief, and working with sight impairment through the RNIB. She provides clinical supervision and holds a diploma in supervision, and has a background in NHS clinical practice, having trained in adult nursing (RGN) and midwifery (RM). Free parking is available, and the studio is near junction 28 of the M5.
